Hobble, the real point of those treasure doors is the yellow sand inside them. You mine it, and it drops random vault ores and items.

For everyone, who think that challenge omega rooms (X-mark, dragon pit, crystal room and factory) is eazy, i will dissapoint you. In current version of vaulthunters guardians (thats how they called) not only have high hp, more than a block of attack reach, but have thorns as well. If you arent carefull they will swarm and kill you. Best tip i can give is create a wall with a little bit of space between you and guardians. In X mark room use full blocks to wall off exits and slabs in lower position. Be careful with placement of blocks, you cannot break them after you start the challenge.

X mark was reasonable as the reward is worth the risk. The other rooms are not worth the effort :)

@Hobble. I disagree. Dragon pits are the only way to obtain stacks of gold coins and guarantee champions spawn. Crystal room are eazy way to obtain rare gems (they have more chance to spawn echo and pog component gems). Factory room suck. Even in skyvaults. X mark rooms have a chance to skip battle. Painting rooms are fricking nuts, i love them.

@TNW_POVELITEL_MIROV coins weren't that hard to come by until the final massive reforges. Yes Crystal rooms were good, but the mobs were just too aggressive n tough for me.

@Hobble. This is why you wall off. In the corner piles you can just cut some blocks, making an unreachable, mostly safe platform. Yes, rangers and spider champions can still reach you. But its better than nothing

@Hobble. Oh, i forgot about something called divine paradox. This thing will comepletely drain you of your coins. Yes, paradox need reputation, and as i saw in video, you never actually gained points. Vaulthunters designed for long, hard, gruesome, but fun playthroughs. You may be missed the cake vaults (but i am not sure, bc their rocks are pretty common.)

For the ore turtles: Hitting them with a pickaxe drops their resource, which then grows back with time in a manner similar to sheep and wool

Wow. Time to spend 1 hour of my life watching this banger. Great job Hobble! Also, do you have any tips for editing? Currently have more than 24 hours of footage of me playing a modpack in a hard drive (def wouldn't fit on my computer) and idk how to edit it into a coherent 1-4 hour episode. ty :D edit: also, the 'placing waypoints so I won't get lost' is sooo relatable, I tried Vault Hunters but gave up on the first vault because I couldn't even locate the entrance anymore :(

as someone who played vault hunters and beat it multiple times, this video hurt me. you really don't read any of the quests which explained SO MUCH

I did struggle with the quests because it was a big info dump at the start, but yeah quests were useful to teach the machines. :)

For the oretise you just hit it with a pickaxe and it gives you the raw ore on its back! (Ik its wierd but thats how they work)

@@Hobble. sorry for late response, but from what ive seen its either a one time thing and another just respawned where i met the first one, ore the oretise can get more ores.

I think it's like a ore farm - you hit em with a pick to get the ore on their back, and then feed them cave roots if you want them to regrow their ores. i think this grows a random ore on them from coal, lapis, redstone, and iron, and you can use a feeding trough (idk if its in the pack) to automate the generation of those ores given you have enough Cave Root
