Torso length is what makes onesies scary.
Long torsos fear cameltoe.
Short torsos fear baggy crotch.
And then on top of that, the fear of looking like a giant baby. Trust me. I get it!
I wanted to toy around with the idea of constructing a keyhole at the midsection of a onesie to see if this would help with the various torso length issue. The goal was to have the keyhole adapt to the wearer: it would get bigger or smaller based on the wearer’s torso length, but would still be cute no matter what.
15 months from the moment this was sketched, the ‪@popflexactive‬ ✨Corset Onesie✨ is here! There were so many rounds of prototyping, but I’m happy we never gave up. It worked FINALLY, and IT IS A DREAM TO WEAR!

Also please remember that the sizing is limited because when I first designed this over a year ago onesies were experimental so I wanted to test in our most popular sizes first. Know that we have been working on plus size onesie development, but that it takes about a year or more for it to come into effect! So thank you for understanding and thank you for being patient with the process! I’m anxious to get them out too, but we cannot rush this.

Like that keyhole really isn’t a lot of skin at all where I live and I wouldn’t consider it attention grabbing. I don’t think most modern women go to the gym for attention, in fact lots of women feel uncomfortable with getting attention when trying to work out and that’s sort of why lots of them wear visible headphones. I feel like the majority of people go to the gym to be healthier or to maintain their appearance, some go for other reasons but those are the main two.

@@LuvsMilkyChanceThatGirlXOX some of them don’t consider what they’re wearing revealing because that’s what they wear normally or it’s normal in their culture, ex leggings are considered extremely revealing to some people and not allowed. Pretty much everyone dresses that way where I live so people don’t consider it a lot and you get more attention for not dressing that way because people wonder if you’re a lesbian. I had a Mormon friend who was terrified of being sexualized because of trauma and refused to show her shoulders but always wore cropped tops and leggings because she found them comfy and didn’t think there was much showing. What feels like a lot to you isn’t a lot to others, imagine how nuns or hardcore muslims feel when they see a lower calve near someone’s ankle, most people don’t find that revealing though because of cultural differences. Like how in some cultures showing a bra strap is very scandalous but showing your entire stomach is normal. Or how some cultures in the past would literally have a woman’s breast out and think nothing of it. Also workout clothes are supposed to be tight to hold you in so many people aren’t caring about how they look and just care about how comfortable they feel while working out or how cool they stay (hence why some men run shirtless and some women in a sports bra, some do it for attention of course but many do it to stay cool). Plus, many don’t care about occasional glances so long as you leave them alone and aren’t being too intense about it because no matter what you wear some people will find you attractive and sneak a glance. My sister wears leggings and tight jeans all the time but it’s because she feels insecure about her body if she doesn’t have something shaping it, not because she wants attention, she’s just always dressed that way because it holds in her tummy. Also, only crazy influencers try to publicly shame people like that, most just sigh and rant to their friends later or at worst tell them to go away. I wear loose clothes all the time because I find it comfortable, it’s not because I’m trying to be modest or avoid attention. When I do dress up I try to avoid attention more because I just wanted to look good to myself/feel nice and get overwhelmed when people compliment me but they only compliment me because I rarely dress that way so it’s a double edged sword. If I dressed that way all the time people would eventually get used to it and leave me be so I can dress how I like. Also I have been to the gym a lot in my day and most people there keep to themselves and seem focused no matter what they’re wearing, most wear pretty much the same anyway. Leggings and a sports bra, sometimes a shirt, tightness and sleeve length varies, and the men wear some type of shorts and shirt but sometimes go shirtless. No one bothers anyone where I go. Most people go to the gym to workout because they 1. Want to lose weight or improve their fitness or 2. Want to be stronger. There are people all over the world who do anything for attention but that’s not the majority. Don’t go assuming what most people want just because of what you assume or a few messed up social media influencers or a few messed up youth you’ve met and try to pull the “I’m not like other girls” crap. You say no hate to the people who dress how they want but at the same time assume they’re looking for attention and trying to ruin lives.

I don’t mind showing my shoulders but my whole back? 2-We don’t all have abs and perhaps the tummy area could be more flattering. 3- I’d loose the bow in the front it doesn’t do anything for the outfit 4- Needs some thicker straps for support and spine alignment. 5- While the seams are flattering, they are only noticeable close up. From far way, unless you have the perfect body, this is going to accentuate your more “unflattering” qualities because it is all one color and very tight to the body. I always love your improvements and ability to take healthy criticism. You have an excellent company and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next. ❤️

Super cute!! I think this would be perfect as a summer outfit base. One suggestion: thicker straps? I found that having the spaghetti straps hit my shoulders oddly and I like having the security and framing of thicker arm straps! I'm saving up for one of these onesies tho ✨

These are a never for me. I sweat at the gym I also drink water. Then I have to pee and if I was wearing one of these I would have to drag that sweaty thing up and down the top might touch the toilet as I pee, then getting it back into place all sweaty would be so uncomfortable. You should design a sports bra for girls with bigger boobs!! It is soo hard to find ones that are supportive enough to stop them from bouncing in your face or comfy enough stop irritation from the straps. I try to like limit my movements on the treadmill and stuff to stop them from bouncing so much it's actually a struggle😭😭
