showed up in my recommendeds three years after it was made, but color me impressed. You've made a non-descript 3-stage variable transformation fighter that more or less screams "Macross" at the top of it's lungs, but has enough uniqueness to it, that it almost feels like a Transformers Jetfire/Skyfire parody/clone as well. bout the only thing I could have seen being done was edge/panel lining on the white bits. Impressive all the more that, you have it's general construction almost be at full gunpla snap-fit levels.

I'm really excited to know you exist here in the 3D print world, you by far can easily replace the mainstream toy line with your high mobility designs and dominate the market. but please just stay with us in the 3D print realm. I think we all enjoy its affordable nature and cost material supply costs. Thanks again Toymaker3D!! cant wait to see many more awesome model figures robots come from your mind

Thank you, I think 3d printing still can't replace factory produced toys. It has limitations on the material quality. I hope it can catch up in the future.

Awesome model just finished printing it and had some trouble with the pdf instructions for transforming it. I found this video and it helped, but I would like to suggest making a video specific to the transformation of this model and show step by step how it's done. Some of the steps are hidden by your hands in this video. I was able to figure it out though. Just suggesting a more detailed video. Thanks so much for this model, Macross Saga was one of my most favorite shows when I was a kid, this model is going to be awesome on my desk!

Your transformable robot is in fact Macross. Macross aired before transformers, Hasbro acquired the rights to the Vf-1s I don’t know how they got the rights it’s a mystery for me. Also your design looks like the Vf-2ss from Macross lovers again and it has the same paint scheme like the vf-1j and other Macross Vfs. While jetfire or Skyfire doesn’t have the the same paint job. it has the exact colors but literally on the same parts as the Vf-1j looking like Rick Hunter’s aircraft while skyfire in other toys doesn’t. You can see it at this min of the video, both are skyfire or Jetfire 8:19. Also nickpick but why a green visor? I have search for jetfire toys but none of them with a green visor, only blue visor and the green visor looks like some Vfs but it’s not really important. Chicken mode which is Gearwalk mode has never a been a part of jetfire, not even the box of the G1 jetfire showed gearwalk transformation it only showed 2 transformations the robot mode and fighter mode by including chicken mode or gearwalk mode it makes it Macross. Also while searching jetfire I came across Mp-57 skyfire it almost have a similar design to gearwalk but when I research more that maybe it could a have a third transformation that looks like gearwalk, but it doesn’t acknowledge it. It only has robot mode and veichle mode.
