Chiming in years later, I always run gunner SOFLAM. Being able to laze any target for the rest of my team adds another variable to our tank’s force multiplication. The number of times I’ve lazed the helicopter harassing my team’s armored units just to watch it get smashed by laser-guided missiles within seconds is comedy gold. In a straight up tank duel, it can give my driver early warning of threats. It lets me actually do something when there’s no infantry to defend against, and just be another piece of the puzzle contributing to my team beyond keeping my tanker alive. I’ve honestly found that the gunner laser is just as deadly for enemy vehicles as the tank itself.

Here in 2024, battle field 6 is now battle field 2042 and tbh its terrible

Was entertaining to watch this. Especially, as I achieved something similar myself. I was gunner in tank, in the Operation Firestorm map in BF3. I think I racked up something like... 100? 150-ish kills? With my driver getting nearly eight himself. I think we only died maybe once or twice. I was using a military friends account. Retired Green Beret dude. He chuckled after the match. "Not bad..." Mind, he said same thing, after I crashed my first time piloting a chopper. "Not Bad. Went almost a minute, before crashing. You lasted longer than most people!"

Got banned too once on bfbc2 for having a nice kill streak on helo. Sad

why do you not use rifle aim on jet? i use rifle aim and have sidebuttons on mouse which also do yaw if im in a dogfight etc.

I've been kicked for "Cheating" twice ever in a helicopter. Both on BF4. 1 of them I wasn't even doing anything that crazy. My score was like 70ish - 1.

I mostly do dog fights but im not great with the cannon. I use radar missiles instead of lock ons

I really feel that my reaction time in my head is just not fast enough to be one of the better dogfighters in BF and I have always wanted to be. I am a decent farm pilot but that is much slower pace and requires much less turning on a dime. I just can't process their moves that fast and panic too easily in flight which can fog your thought. I have practiced a ton though so at least I can put up against the mid pilots like me. 😀 Great flying. I do not know how you do it with the roll camera off!

I just tried it again, its not a bad game but not great, its just good. Its definitely no battlefield 1 or battlefield 4, it lacks character and atmosphere, its a missed opportunity, but its better than cod, its still decent , but no where near battlefield 1 status
