I feel like this is a great way to teach kids that things don’t always go as planned and sometimes we have to clean up things we don’t want to. I feel like in a way it’s fun, and in a way it’s a life lesson. I would definitely include some type of “treasure” to find where some of the items belong so as they’re putting things away, they may find some goodies!

As someone in education, I can tell you that this teacher's students really would 100% love this. She is so upbeat and positive that it is easy to assume that she has built a lot of rapport with her students. When you're a teacher who has taken that time to make the students feel loved and cared for, they will literally run to help you without a single complaint. I have seen it with 1st graders and 12th graders. Be a good leader and those you lead will follow!

My 3rd grade teacher had us make a leprechaun trap, and she shook a bag around with something inside and said that we caught a leprechaun. She would have one kid be able to "take a look" and have the bag jump at the. She would shut it quickly and say. "Okay, I don't think we can open that again. We'll release them tomorrow." Next day the classroom was destroyed and the bag had bite marks and a bit of blood on the bottom. She was on the ground trying to clean up and explained what had happened. That is my fondest memory of the worst place I ever lived. Always appreciated her 😊
