I started doing my franchises as “Expansion drafts”. I make my league a fantasy draft and then only select QBs, then I immediately trade the QBs for future draft picks and I have to build the entire team from those draft picks (never sign a free agent over 60 OVR). I limit myself to 4 picks in each round (12 total) and that’s all I get for each draft class.... It takes around 6 seasons to build a decent team but it’s incredibly fun/ challenging. Two seasons ago I drafted an 85 OVR rookie WR, he was 6’6” with 99 spec catch and jumping with 95 speed.

Just with that “Power Rush” DT that had A finesse and B-D power. I’d imagine DT’s in general have higher power moves. So a B power move in the DT group could be like 76 while an A finesse could be 74. That would probably make him a power rush archetype. Interesting to think about, maybe a guy you could bump out to DE.

On Taj Shelton there the A Finesse move is because typically DTs don't have high finesse move so an A finesse move can be the same or lower than a B power move which could still give him power rusher, I typically try to take any players that have skills like that such as a power HB with high juke or like you had in this video an elusive back with A trucking.

Bengal I think you’ve made me realize what the combine means. The word grades give you a rating range. Then the draft/pro day combines give you the rating within the range. That would explain some “good” speed corners and Wrs pushing 93 spd and your “elite” spd lb having 87 spd.

I think when you have players who have like “good speed” but run a 4.3 is because the “good speed” means game speed with pads and stuff on. Treylon Burks probably would’ve had “great speed” but ran a mediocre 40 yard dash. His “great speed” is game speed with pads and stuff on.

I think the odds improve if you increase the number of superstars in the league in the settings. Just a guess, I have no evidence to back it up. Not done with season 1 yet, but I saw the possibility to pump it up to like 75 from around 50.
