@@christianrossol127 it literally feels like you're in a greenhouse. sofi is considered an outdoor stadium but doesn't have that many openings so combine poor air ventilation/circulation and that translucent type stadium roof that lets in the sun and you get that hot muggy air trap feel like you do in a greenhouse. And with 75k fans its ends up not smelling so great in there as well - its not the most pleasant environment to watch a game in.

The main reason will be the availability of police services. Looting has started in the areas affected by the fires. If Mutual Aid Calls spike then a State of Emergency will be extended throughout LA. SoFi Stadium will be informed that they cannot host the game. The NFL Main Office is already making preparations to play the game on Arizona.

@@bobbowie9350 I live a over a mile south of the bottom of the hills, in a neighborhood set up in a grid pattern. There's no reason to leave, even under mandatory evacuation. Unless i needed a place to get some sleep, just stay, protect the house, similar to Altadena neighborhoods. Set up more like a grid. Some people actually saved their houses by staying. We have driveways, not blocking any emergency vehicles. If anything catches fire, try to put it out, since resources are spread so thin. If the house goes, stand in the sidewalk/street and watch it go

I suppose it’s good for the Vikings if the game is moved as the Rams will slightly lose homefield edge then. I think the Cardinals stadium has both grass and field turf maybe, kind of like the Raiders stadium. That could be an impact if it’s on grass as both teams are field turf I think.

The Hollywood sign is made of corrugated metal, not wood. The issue is all the brush and homes beneath the sign, which are very vulnerable. I agree, the playoff game should be relocated due to concern for the locals and the poor air quality in the city. It could be moved to Levi Stadium in San Francisco, or the old Chargers stadium in San Diego, to keep the game in the state. They absolutely hate us Rams and Ram fans in Arizona, we are their division rival.

My last year in living in Washington was during some massive Canadian wildfires matched with a local fire. My city had the worst air quality in the world at one point for a few hours. It was just miserable. I sometimes think "I sure want a cabin the woods" but then realize it's just going to burn down one day.
