Actually the stars aren’t for the tracks but the “fav replays”. It only saves 12 replays at the simultaneously before deleting old ones, and you can star 6 replays and save them forever

I 100 percenting Mario Kart 8 Deluxe think that Nintendo should make the rewards better or add a character, kart, wheel or glider for 100 per cent the game because when I play online I never use the full gold combo because it is not good. But good video (edit btw pre 500 subs hope you go big man)

my strategy for 150cc was to use the sport bike with matching tires with a small character, mirror was never really a challenge for me to get used to. 200 cc i use the same small character but with a standard cart and roller skate tires so you can slide/control much easier. use what you want but this is how i can consecutively get 1st in any mode im playing. online never uses 200 cc so the bike gets so much more speed than all the other vehicles with a medium difficulty to control, but sometimes you get 100 cc and its just boring easy depending on the map

This is the first time I have seen someone unapologetically using the smart steering feature and then daring to call 200cc easy. The entire point of 200cc is that it is so fast that it becomes really difficult to stay on the track, so of course 200cc becomes easy when smart steering makes it almost impossible to fall off. It seems almost like you simply aren't even aware that you were using this, so have you ever tried 200cc with smart steering off?

Yeah it kinda haunts me how I didn’t turn of smart steering lol. Never took Mario kart seriously like ever so I completely forgot smart steering was a thing. I’m making a sequel for when the dlc is complete and gonna make a point of not using smart steering. And this was my first attempt at 200cc (if you can call it an attempt with smart steering lol)

There's actually wheels specially made for mario kart 8 deluxe by the official nintendo. There are two versions, one for kids, and one for adults. If you want the best experience, I recommend the adult one, but if you want the cheaper version, I recommend the kids version, because its small, needing less material. When connecting the wheel, its detected as an actual controller (because it is) so the nintendo toy-con thing is not needed since the controls on the wheel are already mapped on the nintendo.

Did everything about a month ago now! Did like 70% of the time trials one night and the rest the next day. Only found a couple (like Cheese Land) hard, but doing them all took forever. I still haven't gotten the Gold Glider, but my plan is to just do the extra TT's not needed for the tyres, like the DLC ones and just get coins on the way. I also did 150cc rather than doing 50cc, 100cc and 150cc, because that's insane.

Also, I noticed you play with Smart Steering on! That might be part of the reason 200cc was easier, as you won't fall off the track as much. I recommend turning it off, as it's impossible to get Ultra Mini Turbos (Purple Boosts) with it on!

Yeah the video was about beating the base game and unlocking everything. There's not anything to unlock for beating bcp tracks. Just the 3 star ranks. Doing that for the video would be going out of the way for nothing. Like crewbie said he'll make the bcp it's own video once wave 6 releases by the end of this year

If you do 150 cc on Grand Prix it gives you the stars for 100 and 50 as well so you only gotta do 3 instead of 5 times

Better tip for collecting coins: Multiple players, and coin runners!! You can collect >10 coins per race and it makes it soooo much faster and easier to collect coins. :)

I think gold items dont make sense: The gold glider,probably one of the easiest to get,is used in some of the meta combos,and is one of the best gliders in the game. gold mario and gold kart,which are pretty challenging and take a lot of time to get,yet they are..alright,definitly not the best,but not the worst. and the gold wheels,which are THE HARDEST to get,are one of the worst wheels in the game,with stats that get outclassed by pretty much any wheels! Nintendo,why?!

You can edit the replay on mktv to either play it for 30 seconds, 45 seconds, 60 seconds or the whole race.

The game just turned 9 years old and a lot of the information you covered is very well-known. Don't want to sound mean, just offering feedback since I feel like your effort would be better spent on a video about something newer.
