There's 10 other things more broken than ghoul. It's just low mmr easy to play problems. Other buddies are doing boards in the 10s of thousands.

The new patch was bad. They didnt need to fix ghoul. Here is a really good player having 4 golden ones. Its like he said in the beginning, that ghoul would be the pick for the 1gold hero,power deathrattle spawn guy

Keep in mind that his obscene tempo spike after he got the first Ghoulacabra would still work exactly the same with the nerf. I think the nerf just removed Ghoul's fucked up and evil lategame scaling, while leaving it as an extremely efficient and powerful midgame scaler. I'd bet money that a lot of builds will still run it, they just won't be an instant guaranteed win any more (which is good)

Nowhere near broken, other builds actually keep up with it now. One ghoul used to be enough to stabilize and carry you for 2-3 more turns
