​@@McNippyGprobably not 2 days because eventually a few levels could be of the super expert variety and could take a while to finish, is generally what happens usually. Now probably all but maybe a handful of levels will be cleared. But I whole heartedly expect a few to not be cleared so rapidly. But we will wait and see if that is the case when it gets to below 50 levels left how rapidly it falls below that.

It was nice to see Panga run a good troll level for once. I'd like to see him mix troll levels into his weekly rotation rather than Super Expert runs every time.

He has now cleared 8.58% of his goal. He now has 259 skips in 6218 total courses played for 24.01 courses per skip or a 4.17% skip rate❌. At his current pace he will complete his goal in 5998.20 more episodes. Panga is right in saying the cp0 in that level is rather ineffective, as there is no downside to starting over. BUT if you insist on having a cp0 to return to you could add a bunch of hard/annoying to get red coins all over the level before and after cp1, so that players cannot simply start over without losing their red coins. You can also add bunch of anti softlock traps in this sorta level, maybe even a mandatory one for each time player hits the cp0. Certainly a brutal level like this would make smm2 better and definitely not worse :)

The SMM2 algorithm/community will never cease to amaze me. That awful troll level is in expert, while a relatively simple puzzle level I made reached super expert (which nobody plays anymore) after only 26 players. SMH my effing head.

might start commenting about a bit of a level i really like (in an attempt to get better at mario maker haha). I loved all of the troll level but thats all way beyond my comprehension, but the mechanism at 17:44 is absolutely awesome, I imagine its not the only way to do something like this but it works really well, although giving the player a propeller suit right before it does kind of make lemmy useless. Either way, probably gonna use this at some point because imagine a vertical section you had to do three times over while being bombarded by balls, that'd be amazing

If his only goal is to beat the level (and potentially get the world record) then it makes sense to start over. Panga basically never plays well made troll levels, so I can't blame him for being unaware of what you might call "troll etiquette".

​​@@phantomjadenIt's not a matter of etiquette, some levels are designed to require* you to start from the checkpoint. *Technically you can't do this perfectly, but this sort of level will have a well-hidden dev exit from the start.
