I wouldn't say you necessarily made that big a mistake. Sure, the SS upgrade is actually pretty great, but as F2P, getting him to SS (currently) is not really feasible anyways. That means we have to pull him three times. We can probably get copies of him in the future on reruns to get him closer- or to his SS rank, but right now even if you had dumped all the rest of your gems into his banner, there's no guarantee you'd even get one more copy. I'll keep pulling on his banner until it goes away to try get one copy (failed the 50/50 and got Royal Guard), then I'll consider duplicates in the future when he returns on a rerun banner if I have the resources. He's still usable at S rank.

Terrible mistake is summon for dupes as f2p, cause you can get weapon with 180 summons 100%, but you cant get 2 count thunder with 180 summons, cause its random every time. But if you have hell weapon of EJ vergil, you dont need count thunder hell weapon

Im not sure if you know or not, but when you QTE into Count Thunder you can spam the attack button to increase the slashes he dishes out, does decent damage.

Honestly you're better off getting character dupes and leaving the hell weapon entirely as a F2P. Awakened Ebony legendary isn't as good as his hell weapon, nowhere near, but it's still a great option and many people likely have it and even copies of it. I feel like people don't understand legendary weapons are pretty much BiS for most characters, universal hell weapons are GARBAGE. The exclusive ones are whale weapons, anything below 2 dupes is a waste of time. If you can't unlock the 2nd passive and beyond the legendary at 4 dupes will outdamage it every time. With enough luck/time every f2p can easily get a maxed legendary from raids drops etc random pulls, perhaps event rewards at some point.

For F2P players it is next to impossible to because there are not enough shards available from daily activities. For this we will have to keep accumulating shards for atleast 1-2 months only then can we confidently get 2-3 copies of an S rank character not even considering the hell weapon.

When you switch from one character to count thunder Vergil: if you continuously tap the attack button, his slashes will go on for longer. Thought it would be useful information.

It's not great advice for free to play, in my opinion. Banners will come back. Use your free gems to pull one of each. Take advantage of the pity system per banner and do not waste gems trying to rng through the 50/50 multiple times on the same banner. Do one pity rotation per event if you are free to play.

Now we have to realize that Vergil is not a F2P character. it’s not bad, but to unlock its potential you need SS rank, to get it you need 100 fragments and that’s more than 4 repeated drops and it will cost a lot, a lot of gems. but still the character is not bad.

That's why i prefered V but that game wasn't in my favor. This vergil only has judgement dance but you have to rank it up which is pay to play. It don't even have judgement cut but replaced by judgement dance.

He does not need to go over S. Everyone is wrong about this, his skill reset is not necessary. One Man Show, high rank Nomadic Lighting and full stacks of Motivation makes Count Thunder's Judgement dance literally outdamages Judgement Cut End. Remember, Judgement Dance gets % dmg boost PER motivation stack which goes up to 150% bonus damage PLUS the bonus from cards, PLUS the bonus from OMS buff, PLUS the benefit of Beowulf buffs, PLUS the pen and bonus dmg from Nomadic Lightning. The only issue with Count thunder is he sucks against aerial enemies. Judgement cut is actually what breaks Endless Judgement Vergil, as it actually does more damage than any skill (450, 450, 750, 1100% if you perfect Judgement cut)

Hey it's ok I didn't get him in my pulls I got screwed with royal guard Dante don't get me wrong I'm happy to have him to use now but I wanted count vergil his moveset is what I normally play when I do vergil that in sword rain there missing quite a few things that I like to do with vergil but the fast slices into sword raid then into fast slice is nice I proberly butchered the names of the skills but it's basically vergils quick dashing slice that goes in a full circle movement and goes straight well the other move evolves vergils swords floating around him and aimed at target but the other moves if like is endless judgement cuts mixed with thish move set and have the sword spin as well that lighting vergil has

I like EJV way better still and completely smoke all the Count Thunder scores in bloody palace with EJV still electric buffs or not. Yeah he's alright but you need a godly lightning team...he doesn't have endless judgement's normal combos that do an insane amount of hits and telelports, nor any crazy aerial damage. You pretty much need to run nomadic lightning with him for Round to keep enemies debuff'd and grouped up so his rapid slash and judgement dance hits them all.
