A few years ago, I got to play drums (drum set) with my old rock band at a local club. We hadn't played together in almost 25 years. As soon as the first note was played that night, it was like we were 20 years old again. It is one of my most treasured memories. As you get older, memories will fade and friends will be lost. It is easy to take things for granted. You do a great job of documenting things and "taking it all in".

The akron show was my first ever DCI show. I was kinda uset about the weather, was still happy to see the standstill. I remember seeing the alumni come out for like 10 minuetes, I was wowed.

I love your vlogs. Always good content and from the heart. I am glad you were able to have the chance to take the field again! 🤙🏼 Drum corps is one of the few things that seems to always give back more than you put in. I have never had the opportunity to march DCI before going into the Air Force as a career, but my sticks, pad, pirated sheet music and DCI tapes/DVDs have always been with me since my first exposure to corps in 1994. I finally got to go to the big show this year, but only on prelim day. Regardless, it was still a check on the bucket list! Petition for organizing an active DCA corps on the West Coast!

I remember being in the stands that night for age out night with all the other age outs and pushing my way all the way to the 50, still in uniform just to be able to see y’all’s show head on live. Was definitely one of my favorite memories from my whole summer, getting to see electric counterpoint and great gig in the sky live again and tearing up like a baby. Even though I ended up marching somewhere else, The Bluecoats hold a special place in my heart for helping me fall in love with this activity. The energy was electric that night and you guys absolutely killed it. Thank you🥲

However it might be for the better since the lack of oxygen underneath the stands, combined with how awesome I saw you guys were in the semi-final, I think I would've fell to the ground and not gotten back up.

It’s crazy I’m seeing this a whole year later. Watching this just made so many memories come back. Even from the rained out show in Akron 😂. I will tell you me who was sitting in the age out section, even though we were on the the side watching we were all screaming watching you all. It was crazy over there in age out land. I find it funny that we warmed in that exact same room, and probably had the funniest high school warmup ever. One of our snare in one of the goofiest voices goes to the bathroom and ended up being in there for almost the enitirety of our warmup and when he came back my man looked like a husk. It's sick to know you guys also have memories of those rooms :)
