I did the NEW Ref questline so YOU don't have to | Escape from Tarkov

It finally happened. Arena and tarkov are now linked and with that BSG introduced a new trader called ref along with a questline. With merely weeks left of wipe and not much else to do I decided to go down the ref questline both out of boredom and also out of curiosity.

To further elaborate on my thought on quest. I don't know what Ref Level 4 will unlock but I just don't enjoy arena let alone able to even find a game most of the time. I think its a cool addition to the game but for now Ref doesn't really bring much to the table for me to think he's worth grinding out. However, this is just my initial impressions and I could be wrong or things might change next wipe

I did the math and I might have done it wrong but the quests don't give enough rep points even with EOD extra 0.2rep to get 1.20 REP so I'm guessing you have to play arena dailies which is just pain

ALSO 50GP coins is equivalent to 375K in rubles. GP coin = 7500RUB

So I haven’t done the task where you have to get 5 pmc kills on streets. However I raised my rep to 0.26 from arena tasks. When I was 0.24 on arena, I completed a task that gave 0.2 which made it go to 0.26 but on pvp it stayed on 0.24. I guess it’s quest locked?

I'm on great heights pt 2 and it's wild that you have to get 1700 ARP and later get 2200 ARP for the questline. I'll place top 3 usually but there is always one or two on the team that have no clue what they are doing it seems. Maybe playing as Tier 3 classes will help get more balanced teams. Also, was screaming at you to check the mall throughout lol.
