He wasn't nice in this scene, that's true, but in some of the other episodes he has been way nicer to her than other characters. Remember the episode with the big party in season one - when Sid says he wants to smoke weed and she says that it makes her hungry, he apologizes. Then, the morning after during a school lunch, he tells Tony how she is "doing better" now after being out of rehab. He also tells her that she should eat her lunch, and when she shows him how she fools people into thinking her plate is empty, he's not mean about it. He's not the smartest guy and does MANY things later in the series that also made me want to punch him in the throat, but has been quite understanding towars her disorder despite the fact that he doesn't really get it.

Being older now, I can see that Sid was probably what most teenage boys were back then. He didn't know how to handle the uncertainty and just left. :) I hated his guts because he never deserved Cassie, but quite a few boys would have reacted this way.

Yeah. She is an INFP like me. As a person with this personality, in the teen years one can be sooo people pleaser because we are looking for a peaceful and sweet enviroment between the people we are around. I always tried not to ofend anyone, always having a big smile in my face, I get a lot of anxiety about how people see me, I was aware about every aspect about my appeareance constantly and had an eating disorder too.
