Apologies to those turned off by my checking my phone. I was blown away by his performance, and was also trying to figure out what language he was singing in. So, i grabbed my phone to see if i could get some more context from Google. When i went in to edit the video, i realized my dialog that followed sounded more like babble. So, i decided to cut it out. The end result looks like me being insensitive to Dimash, and inconsiderate to his art. I normally react with zero distractions. But, I'm half French. I got excited when i heard some French words. I didn't mean to disrespect anyone on here. Please forgive me 🙏🏻🤗

He now sings in 16 languages, has a 7.7 octave range and the most beautiful, amazing voice. He speaks 4 languages. This is in his studio bc of the pandemic shutdown. You should watch a concert, go to Bastau, done in 2017, he was 23. Before that he was in The Singer competition in China, 2017, where he sang this and got millions of fans from that. He sings in many genres, so u can find anything, he is great in all of them.

You won't have ever heard of another artist like Dimash because there is no one like Dimash, unlike others who pick a genre and stay in it. Dimash has the vocal freedom to sing whatever he wants from Opera to Rap and everything in between. Dimash is beloved by millions of people around the globe because he focuses on bringing hope and peace and unity between nations. He's currently goodwill ambassador for migration for the United Nations and Goodwill Ambassador for the Congress of World Religions. His concerts last for almost 4 hours flying through all genres and usually 7 different languages and people fly from all over the world to see him. His last concert was attended by people from 80 different countries. He's a very special person, kind, funny, grounded and unpretentious. Whether he's performing for Presidents or opening schools he brings that same energy that everyone is important and deserving of his respect.

Just a couple of small examples as there are too many to list, Placido Domingo practically fanboyed over him on their first meeting, Justin Hawkins of the Darkness listed him top of his list of all time greats, ahead even of Freddie Mercury, Stevie Mackie one of the US leading vocal coaches to AGT, Jennifer Lopez etc, christened him The King and Jackie Chan frequently calls on his services for both film festivals and recording OSTs for his movies. As I said, this is just a few examples from a huge amount. It's the music industry who's acknowledged him as the best, not just his fandom.

Dimash is the most proficient genre=buster on the planet. Since you mentioned you like dance music, you would do well to check out his digital show live performance of "Be with Me," or any of his live performances of "Give Me Your Love." But don't stop there! He performs everything from opera to hip-hop and rap, and everything in-between, and he does it all brilliantly. He sells out arenas and stadiums all over the world for some of the most fantastic four-hour concerts that have ever been created by any singer anywhere. Your commenter who said he was "obsessed" is among millions of others around the world who are as well. I've been following Dimash for 8 years and there hasn't been a day gone by since my first discovery of him that I haven't spent literally hours listening to his music and watching his performances. Dimash IS a showman! His 3-4 hour concerts blow people away! Personally, I would rather hear his gorgeous voice and vocal techniques in a concert hall. He has done both. He’s young, and he prefers the excitement of huge sold-out stadiums, pyrotechnics, dancers, etc. - even swinging on a rope above the stage or rappelling down onto the stage - while singing - from several stories high. IMO that’s just fluff - I want to enjoy the purity and pitch-perfect accuracy of his voice without all the distractions! But, that may be a function of age - I’m 74, and traveled to Budapest in May to see him in concert. If he puts on a concert in the western hemisphere, I will be there. I’ve been a fan since the Singer 2017 competition that launched his career.

Jeff, You'll have a lot of surprises ahead as you start leafing through the Dimash repertoire. You will also find that Dimash cannot be stylistically pigeon-holed. His amazing 3 hour concerts demonstrate an emotive skill in all kinds of stunning mixed-style tunes. (Believe me, this guy is unlike any other performer I have ever heard... and I ain't young!) What piplevett meant with genreless is: Every single song is different from most others. This one is from Starmania, a French-Canadian rock-opera and is supposed to be one of the 5 most difficult French songs to sing. Other singers struggle with this song in its original version, but Dimash made it more difficult. 😂 Here you can see how easily he switches techniques in the middle of a phrase. He has masterful control over all of his 7+ octaves, while most don’t have that control over their 2 octaves. And every song contains something we haven’t heard from him before. A new genre, new styles, new techniques, very different arrangements if he decides to cover something and not sing one of his many original songs. It’s a little disappointing, that you let yourself be distracted by reading during the climactic part. 😅 Many people, including professional singers and musicians with decades of experience and from all over the world, have said, that they have never heard anything like him before and consider him to be the greatest vocalist that is on this planet. This show was a special made during the pandemic. Since concerts were impossible, he decided to hire lots of artists to put on a show for his fans (Dears) that couldn’t see him live. But his style is generally very big on stage. Even though he is privately the most humble, caring and lovely person you could ever imagine. ❤

In this film, the song of the alien Diva was made half with the voice of an opera singer, and half synthesized on a computer to show an alien voice so that human capabilities could not cover the range and jumps of this song, and so: Dimash sang it calmly, which proves that Dimash is an alien. Now, Dr. Qudaibergen completed his Doctoral studies Ph.D. in the spring of 2023. His parents were entertainers in Kazakhstan, but according to an old Kazak tradition, Dimash was given to his paternal grandparents. They were not at all wealthy, but when he informed his grandparents their piano needed tuning, around 3 years old, they began to make arrangements to send him to the best children's/youth music school in Kazakhstan. Before turning 5, he began his studies there and trained until he began University. All three of his degrees are in music and all of this time, now age 30, he has been classically training vocally and instrumentally (over 25 years.) His vocals and presentation are impeccable. He loves sports, swimming, working out with Taekwondo and participating in other things like Modeling, reading, walking around with his friend's babies... He continues to train with vocal coaches abroad and though his home is in Kazakhstan, he usually will set up and concert in another country and move there for two months so that he and his band and singer mates can rehearse, have the stage ready and much more. Dimash, like many in that region is Eurasian. Tall at 6'3".

If you want to go to a concert you better line up a week in advance. His concerts sell out before they can open the ticket booth. He has fans from all over the planet. They fly in from as many 60 countries to watch him perform for over three hours. He creates magic and his performances are events versus show. You have no idea what you just experienced as it was less than 1% of his talent. If you start the Dimash journey I suggest you watch "Stranger" next. Welcome to the land of the "Dears" (his fans).
