It's so good to see someone discover Dimash through one of his less spectacular songs instead of the usual SOS or Stranger. Dimash is a very different artist than anyone else on the planet, extremely well educated to the point of just being about to finish his PhD, kind, funny, generous and humble despite being the voice of the century. His concerts are incredible, his music videos a work of art. He aims for perfection and excellence in everything he does. Although his 7 octave vocal range is usually the first thing people think about, his ability to switch effortlessly between genres, incorporate multiple genres in one song, his use of vocal dynamics and his creativity in composing is what truly makes him stand head and shoulders above the rest. Great reaction! ❤ Everyone has already filled you in, about him, so let me just add one thing: For many of us (independent of how long we have already lived), there was a time before Dimash and a time after Dimash. Before Dimash I thought I knew what good singers should be capable of and even though I already heard all kinds of music, I was never a real fan of anyone. I listend to some songs by someone and then moved on to other artists with other great songs. After Dimash that changed. Suddenly there was someone, singing in all kinds of languages and all kinds of styles that were unfamiliar, and sometimes not the music I would have listened to before, but I couldn’t stop. Suddenly I have no problem whatsoever listening to the same song hundreds of times and checking out new genres. I have learned about singing techniques and how most people are only good in one ore two. And how Dimash is different. Dimash is incomparable. You have no idea what he can do. Try Stranger from New Wave 2021 which is like a Game of Thrones movie score and it’s in English. It shows a few of his vocal techniques. He sings everything from opera to rap. He composes, plays various instruments, dances, directs, models etc. his three hour concerts shows how dynamic he is. He’s all over the stage, interacts with the audience, breaks their hearts with ballads and sends them home happy with a fun pop song. People come from 60-70 countries for the chance to see him.

Finalmente! L'avevo suggerito tempo fa. Ma anche se questa canzone è bellissima, per capire chi è Dimash bisogna vedere altre performance. Anche perché il prossimo anno torna negli USA (progetto che con la pandemia aveva dovuto interrompere) e sarà una sorpresa per i pochi che ancora non lo conoscono. Ha festeggiato in questi giorni i 500 milioni di visualizzazioni su youtube. Loved your reaction! You caught the language shift after the first of the two violin solos. Dimash Qudaibergen (koo- die -bear - gen {hard g}). Dimash has sung in over 15 languages. Strongly recommend putting subtitles on even for the English. This song is beautiful, but barely touches Dimash’s skill set. You’ll get a lot of recommendations for SOS or Sinful Passion, but your direction truly should be your own. Zhalyn, Unforgettable Day, Screaming - Dimash truly has amazing versatility and range. Dimash Qudaibergen (di-MOSH Koo-dye-behr-GEN) is a talented artist from Kazakhstan who began his formal training at the age of 5. He is professionally trained in opera, contemporary music, and musical theater. His diverse discography includes genres such as pop, R&B, EDM, rock, folk/traditional, neo-classical, opera, and even rap and hip-hop with a vocal range of 7+ octaves: C1-D8(which doesn't exist on a standard 88-key piano). О да, и меня много раз называли "чекнутой фанаткой", но я лучше буду чекнутой с Димашем, чем нормальной без его🤣. Для меня Димаш со своей гипкостю голоса, как Худини, интересно, что Худини радился 1874. года 24. марта, а Димаш 1994. года 24. мая. Ещё интересней факт, что Майкл Джексон падарил своей медсистре плакакт и своей рукой на нем написал "1994. 24. 05." Как окозалось - это дата рождения Димаша! Плакат Силвия Сандоваль подорила Димашу. Возможно это какой-то знак! Но главное, Димаш самый потрясающий человек и казаху не так то легко достич мирового уровня, это понимает каждый, кто жыл в СССР, хотя Казахстан теперь свободная страна, Димаш тот редкий случай, когда певца и человеа в нём любят на одном уровне. It shows Dimash visiting the girl, who was a fan of Dimas, he visited her in the hospital and invited her to his concert, but the girl had already died on the day of the concert and that's why Dimash dedicated that song to her.

Dimash is a Pandora’s box. He can sing in any style and uses classic , pop, folk and “angel” in the same song. stranger is a good example, but SOS is the song that lunched him to the world. A few days ago, he performed this song in a gala dinner in Paris in front of the French president Macron the president of his country and many other dignitaries. You're right, you don't need lyrics, but they mean so much|! Usually you can just turn on subtitles, or there's versions with subtitles. He collaborated on this song just for the Chinese competition of which he was a guest singer and it's very personal to him--he cries in this! A friend did the last verse in Chinese for the people attending. It's just exquisite and you did it justice--thanks!

For those who remember, Renat Gaissin, who composed this song, is the author of the song "Qairam Elim" (2020) whose video was directed by Dimash himself and was the winning song for an audience choice on the American MTV in 2020 (Renat Gaissin appears in the video playing the piano). He also made together with Dimash the instrumental song "River Of Love", where Dimash plays dombra, a Kazakh folk instrument, and the song “Omir Oter”. Renat Gaissin composed the melody while traveling by plane, thinking about how to describe love. Dimash then requested that the song be featured on the Chinese program "I'm a Singer" and a Chinese ending was added in addition to the Kazakh verse.
