It's such a therapeutic piece of art. It is one of my favorite games and I've played it many times. It always grabs you in the core and shakes up emotions you didn't know were suppressed. Just beautiful through and through.

Your reaction is the closest one to my own that I've found. I completely agree with your interpretation of the struggle in the snow as old age, where your body slows down and stops listening to you, and you simply can't go on. But that's not the end; there's something else afterwards. A victory lap, almost - going back to a state of childlike wonder, losing yourself completely in the joy of life, companionship, and reveling in being part of the world and its beauty. And like everything, it must end, but all endings are beginnings. While I was flying through the final area I found myself choking up and ugly-crying, and at the time, I couldn't have explained for the life of me why I was having such a strong emotional reaction. I sob-cried much more freely than you did since I didn't have to worry about recording. For me, nothing else quite measures up to the simple, almost elemental beauty of Journey, and the doubletap of heart-numbing sadness coupled with uplifting hope. I fully believe I'm slightly more ready to face death now than I had been before I played. Absolute masterpiece, and a work of art that I'm in love with just as much as I was when I first played it. Thank you for playing and sharing, it made it easy for me to remember how beautiful this game is thanks to having found your video.

@@yousefsh7949 you can't add and invite people to play Journey with you, it's just a luck of the draw if you meet another player and that's if they are playing the same time as you, and the reason why you've probably not met anyone yet is cause Journey has been out for many years now and not many people still play it as they've moved onto other new things, but don't give up, there are still people who play Journey and I am one of them, and who knows maybe one day you'll run into someone else... Hell it may just be me 🙂

@@AngryVikingBiker and who knows I may have played with you 😂 but yeah this game is truly a one in a lifetime experience of video games and I still remember when I first met a person online, I was super excited and happy cuz I was desperate to play with anybody, and then when we reached the snow area together I really got emotional because of the fear of losing my buddy and it felt like we went through a journey together.

April, thanks for the authentic and moving reaction to this beautiful game. You held up much better than me. After playing, I had to search for someone who reacted similarly to how I did because i needed the company. This is the second time I played the game and totally forgot how I reacted the first time, probably worse than today. The second player was there with me until the end and once more felt like a life experience. Thanks again for sharing.

I love this game. This journey represents all of our lives, and when we go beyond our limits we enjoy the whole journey from the top and then set off on another, perfect cycle! I loved your video, I identified, I was very moved every time I played and watching your video, it falls in tears. Thank you. It was a great video, especially your comments and your feelings. You look like me watching The Elephant Man for the first time in 1980. I was 10. At 49, I still can't make it through that movie without drowning in tears. You could have easily edited out your crying. It took guts to leave it in. You are beautiful on the inside as well as out.

I played this game way back when it first released around 2013-2014. Back when there was always a companion playing along with you. My first experience, first playthrough I was with just one anonymous player the whole way through. We'd wait for each other if we were behind. And in the end we went through that lit corridor together. My eyes were BALLING 🤣

I wish you would enjoy the fly a little more and not rush to get to the destination....that's the whole point of journey, the mountain isn't as important as the journey. U went off course many times trying to just go up instead of letting the game take you where it wants. At the end part all you needed to do was follow the ribbons.
