This is something really different, Froyle. You have more than risen to the challenge and produced some stunning pages! My favourite is the first spread if I had to choose. All of them are gorgeous, though. Regarding the non-availability of the fabulous papers here in the UK, I am working on a way of producing a DIY version of the Ogura lace. Once I know if it works or not I'll be doing a blog post about it. I made some great beehive paper by stamping white acrylic paint onto white tissue with a plastic lid, and I've made what I think is a successful version of the roses (still needing a bit more work), but the gossamer paper is proving more of a challenge. Sometimes it's good for us if we can't get things easily, or if they are too expensive. It makes us think outside the box and get creative and see if we can't find a way of making it ourselves!

I like the all white. If it was my creation I would have tried some silver dry-brushing on the first 2 pages. I love the 2nd two pages best. The 3rd set I thought if you had some white twine to dip in glue and add to the 3rd set of pages. But that's me These are great though. I like how the tone on tone really emphasizes the textures

Froyle!! Another Blast of a time laughing and learning with you!! 😂😂 You are soo inspiring!! I think I like the last two pages best. Again...very hard to choose tho!! Of course I love the big Mom's Fav cereal bowl circle!! And the beautiful Rose stencil on the packaging paper. It looks like plant leaves coming up from the bottom and at the same time I can see the big Rose!! When you came back and added the little Happy Circle on page 7, it really made the whole thing pop!! Froyle, how did you get such a nice sharp print with the stencil and the brown packaging? Did you do it on the gel plate or put the stencil directly on the paper and brayer the paint through?

As usual looooove it. Just out of curiosity … how do you dry all the papers you spray? You must use loads of surfaces waiting for it all to dry? I find that the biggest challenge when making background paper. Looking forward to seeing what you have up your sleeve next!

I can’t believe there is no shop in all of the UK that sells these papers? From the US the shop is Mulberry Papers & from Australia the shop is Kami Paper. In New Zealand here, I get the beehive paper from Takapuna Art Supplies, but I don’t know what would be best for you? Different shops sell different papers, I think we should next experiment with making some! 👍🏼

Loving your videos! I just discovered your channel recently. Question, are you using regular tissue paper for your Gelly prints?? When I wet tissue paper it just falls apart.

Yes I use regular white tissue from the dollar store & recycled tissue! 👍🏼 but you can get stronger archival tissue from an art shop. It tears if you use too much paint, yep I have done that a lot! Cheers Froyle

Haha! You could always stick black paper down first! Or paint black on the page with acrylic paint or even black gesso! 👍🏼 or collage with black paper with the white! You know there are not really any hard or fast rules! 😂 it’s your artwork! 😘

Hmmm I am not so sure about the art suplies who wont kill us. They have a life of their own, sometimes I have a feeling they taking control of my mind. I hear them wisper "you need me buy me" or " use me, you need to use me you neeeeed to use me". But for real now, acrylic paint or resin is stil not good for the body or dust from sanding, aerosol or what ever, I defenetly take to less care of safty as I am working. Only when I am sanding or engraving I wear ad least a mask but no rapsperator for example. Know it better does it aotomatacly make it better.
