If you guys saw this weeks main channel video, you know that I was in BC making over my boyfriends mom, Annalise’s rental property! We had lots of fun doing that and I am so happy with how it turned out, but I am also SO glad I got to spend 2 weeks up there so I could relax after doing all that work the first week. For vacation, my boyfriend Elliot and I spent time in Okanagan, British Columbia. We swam, went to wine tasting with friends, ate yummy food and hiked. Come along with us!

I adore going on adventures like this with my husband. We do microbreweries rather than wineries (though I'm not really a fan of either), and I love the architecture and histories and the people we meet. The last 18 months really put a halt to it all, but we've done a couple this year. Your vlog reminds me of those good times!

It's been a long time since we were in the Okanagan despite living in Alberta, so I enjoyed seeing familiar places too. As I write cooler weather and some rain have helped the fire situation thank goodness. My daughter and her family are on the island till Sunday and main roads east and west were blocked this week. My mom grew up in Summerland, BC, and I remember when we'd do road trips as a kid and travel between Summerland and Penticton, I always thought we were for sure going to drive right into the water. I literally used to have nightmares that one of my parents would not be paying attention while they were driving and then our car would drive off the side of the road and into the water. Fun memories, lol. edit: also lakes freak me the eff out. One time I wore goggles when we were waterskiing and I was left out in the middle of the water waiting to be picked up and I made the devastating mistake of looking under the mirky water with goggles. Gah, it was unsettling 😳 😳 😳

The place you went to for the peaches/fruit is called a (Farm stand or a fruit stand .) We have alot of these /farms in western Massachusetts ,I love it plus being able to go pick fresh strawberries, blueberries, peaches,and so much more cant wait for fall and apple picking season to take the kids

Eep I love the Okanagan, I am northern in Kamloops but would go all the time in the summer when my family moved to the coast. Naramata is one of my favorite places, it's just so quaint and beautiful.

Had to edit as I got Keremeos and Naramata mixed up, I do that everytime. Naramata is near the lake, and I think the Elephant Island is in right in Naramata. Keremeos is more towards going back to Vancouver along the crows next hwy, still cute place with all the fresh fruit and veg.
