My bad about the alternator keeping the car running with the battery cut off. It never even crossed my mind 😅Big shout out to Michael for showing up when he did. We wouldn't have gotten it done on time without him! It wasn't exactly the result we wanted, but not bad for a first derby car (for all of us)!

Well done for your first time Rudy, and way to go for the amazing team you have around you who all came together. It was great to see Trevor again, it's been way too long and he has his own real fan base who love him. Big props to Janelle for all her amazing filming, without which much wouldn't have been captured. I think overall, you pulled out all the stops, showed up and participated doing well. Now, you have time to get the car all ready for the next time. Fix the wiring, get the headers into two stacks, put in the lower gears and get out and do it again. Nice to see Kaulin in there with you, we are all looking forward to finishing his truck build. Thanks for taking us along.

It looked like your team was up against dome heavy hitters. You may have been short on seat time in a derby car but, your family and friends made up the difference with heart. Paul's custom headers might not make your engine as strong as the one Robbie brought into the arena but you were there to help run interference. You built a good car and put on a good show. It's cool to see the different processes and techniques. Matt did no Pre-Crunching, Rudy did some by hand, and Paul did a buncha cruncha but used his mini excavator to expedite the process.

I’ve learned more than I expected about derby car construction. That cage looks like it was built to ag fab specs. It should hold up to anything. And just the idea of a BB 413 Mopar in a Ford is the icing on the cake. I love it!

Rudy in the arena one thing to remember. See a competitors car aim throttle up and try for as good of hit as you can. Either reverse or forward. Yet protecting your front end is important. Getting hits is also important. Don’t avoid getting hit unless your trying to avoid a knockout hit. All cars in the area are your targets. Very cool y’all put on a great show regardless of the outcome
