Most of the scenes look pretty unsurprising about Russia. Very sparse population, long basic roads with too much heavy traffic, small villages with traditional wooden houses and towns with a very standardized eastern European look (despite being in far Asia). The traffic and services look nicely comfortable for an European, with cafes and hotels and shops, it's just a lot sparser and cheaper looking than in a dense western area of the continent.
