The zener diode and resistor are part of an 'upgrade' power kit that a lot of people are selling. I installed it on my lynx 1 and ended up with a very bright screen, which turned out to be the zener which had blown (possibly due to the lower value resistor). Luckily when i re-installed the original 120ohm resistor with a new zener i had a working lynx again with no other damage.

i got an lynx 2 it powers on but all i can see are random white Pixels on screen, even the "insert game" screen is unreadable. anyone who can tell me what can cause this? thanks
