Nice video bruh 🤙🏿 how are you switching the recording track when you start a different recording ??

If it's the same "section" (hook, verse, etc) then I just let it record "over itself" because as long as you have "external input only" selected, every new recording in FL just gets placed below the current playback . If I'm moving to a different section then I'll just arm another mixer track and record. Hypothetically you could record an entire song all on 1 mixer channel and break everything down later but I just like keeping stuff seperate personally

So you were able to bounce your record track around because all of your tracks were on external input only ?? (ex. : You started recording on track 2 then you continued & it started recording for you on track 3 & so on )

If you're asking playlist track 2 and then track three then yes. I just typed all this out to realize I read your question wrong but I'm gonna leave it anyways in case someone else has the same question 😭😂 If you watch at the end where I record like at 10:55, I have the same red mixer channel armed to record, but it just places the audio clip below it. It's tied to the mixer channel and the audio clip could be on playlist track 100, but it will still be routed to whatever mixer channel it was recorded to. If however you set up FL's playlist tracks to be "Audio tracks", it will make them like a typical DAW in that playlist track 1 = mixer track 1. Even with that setup though, FL will just automatically group all of your takes for that 1 mixer channel and route them to it

Ok so at 10:55 you start recording & the recording audio is on track 2 in the playlist . Then you start to record again & the recording audio is on track 3 in the playlist . Then you start to record again & the recording audio is on track 4 in the playlist . How are you doing that ??? Everytime I go to record the recording audio will only record on the 1 track I have armed . So basically I have to drag down my audio clip after recording everytime to get it out the way of the new audio im recording

So to sum it up I guess HOW DO YOU MAKE THE AUDIO CLIPS GO BELOW
