Price just traded out of a key level (FVG) and is likely heading for the equal highs at 1.72400. There's a 4 hour (FVG) currently forming at the 25% quadrant of the previous daily candle which also swept liquidity and engulfed the candle before it. Wait for price to retrace to the 4hr fvg at the 25% fib level and look for entries targeting the highs. easy 1:2, 1:3.

Combination of both I personally think having a fixed system in the beginning and then slowly adding more discretion is the best way to go about it But every trader should have a philosophy around trading to follow
