Thanks to Lake for making this video possible, showing me a better setup / method to get a smoother and more stacked looking rotation :) Lake was actually the person who used the cloud objects for it first and inspired me to check out different objects too! kzbin.info Definitely go subscribe to her because she has a bunch of awesome ideas to move this game forward and it's awesome to watch them unfold! Again this video probably wouldn't have been possible without her. I've also been shown a few other examples where this has been used which is pretty cool! This effect seems to have been used a while ago for more subtle backgrounds which is pretty interesting because I think it goes hard for a full background. Thanks for watching!

Fun fact: every object in the game can make a different effect and to add if you combine objs it can be different as well. 1.000.000+ possibilities! (way more in 2.2)

These effect will most likely get epic or feature but can be rated and unrated if done badly. But these effect are woderful and I am astonished by how low objects and groups it takes to make it. A challenge could be to make a full level with it within 50 or so groups

I've messed around with this technique before, i can definitely say this has some crazy potential, rotating a very textured object around itself and then reducing the opacity of it can create some crazy results, especially when you combine multiple, well it looks like you brought this mad potential to effects, can't wait to see what kind of gates to a kaleidoscopic hell you've opened :D

i think fire objects make for some really neat looking stuff when used in this effect also selecting a few of the objects from one of these circles with the swipe select and deleting them can lead to some cool stuff as well
