I grew up in an area like that, but we were the posh street as we had front yards (gardens) to our terraces 😂. The next street was exactly like this where the door opened on to the street. And, you used to have corner shops at the end of every street. Simpler times.

People moaning about the price don't eat out much. Am in Liverpool and fish & chips with mushy peas is near a tenner, a fried rice meal is 7-8 quid and a decent thick pizza is £8-£15. Burgers can range from £3 to £15 no problem. Inflation sucks and it's the same all over the country. 😡

Liverpool is amazing for food . So much to choose from ...Next time your there go to down the hatch. It's vegan but you'd never know ....one to definitely avoid is lemon and lime. Unless you like food poisoning which is what my son got from there after eating the chicken fillet burger
