5:14 Unsolicited advice from a 42 year old lady. You want to glow up. Let me tell you, the real glow up comes from the inside. Just live in moderation, work out two times a week, take a walk or go on a hike once a week. Try to eat healthy about five days a week. If you feel like it, eat some meat twice a month. If you go to a bar drink one or two drinks and then something without alcohol in it (really, it's going to be fine and maybe even empowering). But importantly, most importantly, safe your time, money, and energy for connecting with others. Go out to do some volunteering, or some fun low-key sports thing, like whatever feels fun or meaningful to you. Go find your people, or any people you want to connect with. Trust me, that's where the glow will come from.

If you quit, you quit. If you don't do the challange, you don't do it, if you don't finish it, you don't. You weren't about it. Weak. Be all about the balance after it, etc. But you said you would do it, in front of everyone. So do it.

It is so easy to judge someone from behind a screen, you never know what someone is going through and you never have the right to shame someone for making a decision that is best for their life. The only thing that matters is she had fun and felt good about herself doing this challenge so who cares if she does 50 days instead of 75. She achieved her goal and is living a great life, she gives us the privilge of watching her vidoes but that is exactly what it is, a privilge. Nealie does not have to make these videos that bring us a bit of joy and for that we should thank her, not judge her.

I started 75 hard a few days after, and fell off totally a few days in - the podcast by frisella who created it is very to the point that there’s no tweaking the rules. follow them totally or restart (because it’s about pushing through and doing stuff you don’t want to do to show yourself you are capable - rather than being about something that you can continue) - and I get that’s not for everybody (and I couldn’t do it!) but that is what 75 hard is as defined by the person who created it - and it’s completely okay to do your own series and make a different thing your own 🥰 it would I think resonate with a lot of people, me included ✨
