I think this figure gets more flak than it deserves, since his size and colors are rather impressive to me. My only gripe is the red hook shaped hands, but otherwise he could pass for a definitive Magnus figure on my shelf.

A friendly warning about Fans Hobby Armada Prime. Actually a few warnings. The red plastic that forms the super mode chest is fragile. all of it there is. Also do not just pull on the arms to extend them. Try to find a way to extend the arms with support from the back sides. This figure is amazing but stuff like this is scary as I know from experience lol.

The Good = The blue, the size, the larger hammer, more normal head than Beast Hunters Magnus. The Bad = too much red, too much gimmick/not enough transforming for this Platinum Series, silver needed for some parts, odd hammer handles, notch, and painting. Yeah the “lever” bothers me - maybe a 3rd party fix now? I ended up getting Beast Hunters Magnus, even with his issues, and jetpack (?). I don’t know if any large TFP Ultra Magnus was OK.

I love this figure! It was my first Platinum Edition. And I've wanted it ever since I saw the 3D Magnus cover of the Beast Hunters comic. Which is primarily what this toy is based on. That includes the blue handle on the Forge.
