Lol your diet back then. Around that time i suffered from anorexia and bulimia (13y/o) and i found freelee and was so happy that i could be Skinny and eat..... It made me so much worse. Then i stopped watching her cuz i thought she was crazy. Then like three years ago and was free from that, then i started watching your videos and it helped me stay healthy and vegan and now at 20 i am healthy and on track and you helped with that, so thank you for that !!

I ate half a pineapple in one sitting once and my mouth was covered in tiny cuts because of that special enzyme that breaks down protein. It was a good pineapple, though. Edit: I'm not raw.

It's actually torture for the horse. If you overfeed a horse it won't be able to digest everything and it will die of indigestion. However, a dead horse that died of natural causes doesn't feel pain. "I'm beating a dead horse" is ethical. (It's a joke)

I think you can be really creative with plant based food during the winter, actually. Beets are in season, potatoes, beans, cabbage... In Russia we even have cold beet soup (it's supposed to be eaten during summer but oh well)

I get what you mean about fruit tasting like ass when it's not in season, I only buy strawberries when Wimbledon is on the TV (early - mid June I think?) because I've learnt that for the rest of the year they just taste like water and there's no point in eating strawberries if they don't taste sweet

I appreciate that you make these videos and your efforts at mitigating the possible damage from the old videos. At the same time, I feel a bit sad for your younger self and how you treat her.. it seems like you attack your younger self ruthlessly and have very little compassion towards yourself and the mistakes you have done. We all make mistakes and it is alright - you don't need to hate and publicly denounce your younger self. You got smarter and wiser, you know better now than promoting harmful diets, yet you are still just a human. Your younger self who is talking about bananas and oranges is worthy of your love, compassion and understanding.

I actually agree with your old self about the January strawberries. I prefer them over the summer ones 🙊just bought some for myself this week too. I live in southeast and our January strawberries come from Florida and the summer ones from the Carolinas.

Fruit can be frozen, so if you have freezer space, buy it on sale during summer and freeze what you can't eat in a couple of days.

There's this variety of smaller pineapples that grows in Southeast Asia which tends to be sweeter and have less of that enzyme that burns your skin. Street vendors peel them and put them on sticks so you can eat the whole thing without anything to slow you down. They're so good.

Grapes are like 15 dollars a kilo in the winter here, lol. And a lot of stuff like plums and peaches we... don't actually get out of season. They don't sell, and the store doesn't stock them. More rural areas. Past you was very much in a bubble!
