Man i joined this company where only i was the developer and the manager/management doesn't understand any technical aspect. It was pain. They just expect everything to be done quickly and don't even consider bugs to be a thing. i quit after 10 days. They didn't paid me so i deleted the work i did.

The solution is simple get the manager's direction in writing and enviably when you run behind schedule. Forward the email to whoever is above them. It's not your fault your manager is incompetent.
