This is so so true if you want to do something then you'll do it! I started doing FPL content over on tiktok back in September and I've managed to get to just short of 1.4k followers, and 11 subscribers, I'm growing but slowly the main thing is I'm enjoying it! I hope to go to KZbin eventually but it's very hard to edit videos on a phone! But yep as long as you enjoy it then it's worthwhile!

First of all Andy, it is so great to see you "out of context". Imagine the guy, you pleasantly listen 5 times a week for FPL tips suddenly shows other aspect of his life. I really like it because of it, but not just because of it. I think you were spot on. I always wanted to write novels (on my native language), but kept postponing it, and even if I started a story, I never finished it. In 2023 I decided to break the bad pattern and decided, that no matter what I am going to finish the story. I took the time for planning, creating characters etc. but more importantly in the middle of it I decided to write the very first chapter. I wanted to start the journey instead of keep postponing it. I wanted to create a story that I really WANT to tell to my audiance, and then, as a pressure from the inside it was forcing me to keep going as I knew the story is worth telling. In 2023 I finished my ever first book (it was a Star Wars mini novel) and in 2024 I finished my ever first detective story with Benoit Blanc. I got very good reviews from those few people ever read it. I also got compared to Agatha Christie who is my childhood hero and it is amazing. I know I will never be able to "publish" it (like for real), but I am so proud I managed to finish it and I can improve my writing skills whereas giving me positive feedbacks, in general it just contributes to my wellbeing! And it is something I can show years later to others and proudly say: yes, I used my precious time to write this book!

As a long time fan and former Galway resident, I feel like the thing that’s missing is the highs and lows of the FPL weekend. We need a weekly vlog about the FPL manager experience! You basically don’t have any content (other than text based social media) between the deadline and the end of the gameweek. So much happens between those times, while watching games, while checking on players you don’t own, etc. A vlog of how you experience the weekend (watching or not watching games as appropriate) as points roll in (or not) would be so entertaining! Yes, we know we can’t do anything once the deadline hits, but the 2 to 3 days of earning points is full of so much drama and intrigue!

In answer to you ‘coat’ question. I bought a dirt cheap thin rain mac from Asda about 10 years ago. It’s clearly made of cheap materials. It’s so light that when it’s pretty warm you can wear it and keep you dry and shielded from the wind; and it’s sweaty enough that when it’s cold it makes a microclimate inside and makes you feel hot as hell 😂

My problem is i have so many ideas, but i got so many things i really should be doing first, problems or things that is ruining my life, and then i have routines i should do, and if i did those i would have much less time to. Trying to simplify my life so i can acctualy get started on my ideas is so hard, but then again, it shouldnt be so hard just starting a bit on those ideas, right? But ones i get started i never get very far, its like this super long work journey, and for that i need consistency. Honestly if you have any tips on how to simplify life to get more time. Or if you have any tips on how do get more self control and consistency thats what i need in life. Thank you for these videos btw. You being honest and open about general questions and things we humans try to figure out, like these excuses and stuff, it helps, a least me, to get some clarity on things. I just hope i can, acctualy get somewhere, do some changes, not just listen, but acctualy let wise words get me to do changes too, or improvements.

Quite funny because I recorded a section saying as this is the internet someone will inevitably moan I haven’t taken my dog with me.
