Hello again Half Pint, you got to talking about Grandparents - all mine have passed except my grandfather on my father side - it a true blessing to still have him around! I always heard the Grandparents are the glue that hold the family together & once they are gone that connection that hold everyone together can be lost! I know after my grandmother passed on in 99 our family bound was not as strong as when she was alive! I'm not sure why it's this why & maybe it's not with all families but it seem to be that why with mine! Just my thoughts! Much love my siser!!!💙💙💙

Although Mel Torme Co-wrote the song in 1945, it was first recorded by Nat King Cole in 1946. First by the Nat Cole trio, version was not released until 1989 and his most famous version with the string accompaniment as Nat King Cole which was released in 1946.

Don't be mad if I'm wrong, American ears sometimes struggle with accents, but are you from up north around Yorkshire?
