Great videos ash! *New Content Idea* Please do styling videos on other people. Some people can’t fathom wearing items you can pull off due to body shape. Find some models with different body shapes, shop with them & help them create outfits. That would help expand your audience as you have a very petite frame not many can relate to. You look amaze by the way!

Hi Ashley, I started using Curology about 5 mos ago. I really love it. FYI, for me my bottle has always lasted me longer than 30days. They actually even started giving less product in the monthly bottle so they didn’t have to raise the price monthly. They found a lot of people still had product at the end of 30 days so they thought it would be better to just reduce the product amount in order to keep the price the same. They said some of the ingredients went up in price for them so they were trying to not pass it down to the customer. Well even with the reduced amount I still have product at the end of 30 days. Just in case you don’t know this you can go online to your account and push your delivery date out. I didn’t know this in the beginning and I got my second bottle and still had product in the first. I put the new one up in my medicine cabinet and I literally had just needed to get it and there in the mall was my third bottle. I could see easily how a I would start getting an accumulation of them. I feel I use a good amount too. I think I use about 2 pumps for face and neck. Anyway, you may not have this problem. Also since they did just recently lowered the volume amount. It just thought I’d pass it on since I didn’t know ai had control over my next delivery. I hadn’t used retinol before so they started me off low. It’s just enough to make me shed the old skin cells but not get all red and irritated. I was concerned because the vitamin C they put in mine was only 5% and I have been using over the counter products like peter Thomas Roth at 20%. I reached out to tell them I can handle higher and they said theirs is so much more concentrated that their 5% is stronger then Peter Thomas Roth’s 20%. Hope you like it!

Curology really transformed my skin. I started having trouble with adult acne and after years of trying everything, I finally have clear skin with Curology. The only thing I would advise, is being careful about the clindamycin ingredient (if suggested). Your skin will get used to it and they won't stop using the ingredient until you ask them to. Don't use daily once your skin is clear. And make sure you manage your subscription or new bottles will keep coming even if you don't need it. Good luck!

Hey ash the skin problem is probably from dropping bc, this happened to me as well after taking them forever. What helped me out was getting microdermabrasion & hydro facials! at least once a month until my face cleared up. Love your videos xoxo!

I love curology! I tried many of the products from Sephora that were suppose to help my acne and spots, but none of them really worked. Curology is the only thing that cleared my skin. For the first few months, I didn’t see much results. But after awhile, it started to fade away.

When I went off BC my skin went absolutely crazy (cystic acne), I started 150 mg spironolactone daily and using a skin topical - Aczone - at night and it completely transformed my skin. I've been 6 months acne and cyst free and it's 100% because of that duo. Hope this helps!

Coming off the pill does that. It took me about six months to level out. For me it also showed me I had some allergies I had not known about. You two and "the kids" are so cute. What brand of planner do you use for content? I love how large the daily spaces are and need something that large for my daily planner.

Are you taking a B12 supplement? I used to have HORRIBLE little acne bumps all over my face, struggled for a long time, tried everything...apparently it was a side affect of taking too much of B12. I was taking 5000 mgc a day (dissoluble under the tongue). My acne cleared up within a week of stopping. Best of luck!

Ash, I tried curology for almost a year, and I never got the results I wanted. I finally just went to my dermatologist and he prescribed me spironolactone, which I’ve been on for about 4 months and my skin is clear! Everyone is different, but if curology ends up not working definitely make an appointment with a dermatologist and explore options. 😘😘

My skin got really bad a few months ago, like the WORST it's ever been in my life. And it wasn't like I changed my BC, I've had an IUD since October so it was really frustrating now knowing the cause. So I got really serious and started using all of Tarte's skincare line (exfoliant, cleanser, serum, acid, moisturizers, masks, the works) religiously twice a day, and it's made SUCH a huge difference. I'm still working on it, but it's so much better. Lately I've been having more issues with clogged pores than breakouts (except some really bad chin pimples which I'm sure are from a shitty diet lol oops), and I think it's because I've been wearing so much sunscreen and sweating everyday. So maybe that's what's happening with you! A combination of hormonal acne, as well as sunscreen + sweat might be the cause! Definitely looking forward to seeing if you can figure it out! And I hope you do! Having a bad time with your skin sucks. Hopefully the Cureology works! And I'd definitely recommend not wearing makeup as much as you can! I've pretty much stopped for the summer and it feels amazing!

The ordinary!!! I’m in love with their stuff. I was on birth control for YEARS. Starting when I was pretty young because I used to get sick from my period. Long story short- I got off of it last summer and switched to a non hormonal IUD. I love my IUD but my skin went crazy and it’s just now settling down. The dermatologist said that I’m not the first person to come in and say that...so maybe it’s a thing! But again, The Ordinary definitely helped.

I use Dermatica in the UK which is our version of Cureology, you upload your images and a dermatologist phones you to talk to you about your skin problems and the best way to deal with it. I use them for Tretinoin and get a prescription sent through every month, it's a really good way to get a tailored solution for your skin problems and it works really well. I think you will be really pleased with the way it works and they use really good active ingredients that work. By the By even with skin that you don't feel is at your best you still look beautiful x

I’ve heard a lot about gut health and the cause of acne. So I’ve cut out sugar and gluten and am trying to eat less processed foods. I’m also taking probiotics and a multivitamin as well as a turmeric supplement for inflammation. Just started so no results yet but I’m out here trying to cure the *cause* of my acne 😂😅 it ain’t easy. Good luck girl!!!

It happened to me as well just when I turned 30. I think it‘s bcoz our hormones changes. But now, my skin is getting better! make sure don‘t touch your face with dirty hands or remove your pimples with your nails. Bangs can irrritates our skin too.

I started using apple cider vinegar as a toner and it has honestly been life changing. Almost all of my acne is gone after 2 weeks of using it daily. Which is crazy for me bc I’ve had acne since I was 13, and I’m now 23. Definitely recommend. At least testing it, since it’s so affordable.

Also to specify it’s the ACV “Mother” which is the unrefined (most organic) version. At night, I cleanse, apply ACV wait 30 min rinse off, then apply moisturizer and that’s it. Less is more. In the beginning I’ve been told it’s highly recommended to dilute your cotton ball with water before applying ACV to it. Hope this helps!

My skin broke out a few months after I went vegan (never had pimples before) and couldn’t cure it 100% until I stopped eating gluten or at least minimised it. And it’s only wheat gluten that triggers it. My skin’s been clear eversince. Worth a try🤷🏼‍♀️

Ashley, it could be hormonal. No one talks about this but somewhere around 28-32 our hormones surge. It's our body getting ready for babies..I know annoying but my skin freaked out at 28. I went to the dermatologist a lot. Nothing topical worked and I had to go on accutane. The Joy's of being a woman

Hello. That happened to me. I had to stop because I was diagnosed with cancer and I was no longer able to take the pill. I eliminated dairy COMPLETELY, drank lots of water and turmeric powder, and stopped wearing makeup everyday. It has helped me clear my skin. I was dealing with cancer, I didn't want acne too. Good luck! P.S. I am not saying the pill causes cancer, just that I had to stop hormones. xoxo

I stopped dairy years ago, as for makeup I have no issue when i'm on the pill. My hormones are too imbalanced once I get off the pill, hence the acne. I would like to stop it at some point! and not be as dependent on it for clear skin! I hope you're winning your battle against Cancer! wishing you all the best!

haha! You said in the original comment that I talked about everything except skin so I was recapping what I discussed. Just fyi, vlogs always have the numbers on the thumbnail so that usually means there are tons of things going on in the video. I usually just pick a topic for title purposes :) The pill was making me SO SICK just like you so I switched over to an IUD. I have zero nausea and zero symptoms which is awesome. Maybe look into that?

I've had the skin problem too when I got of the birth control. It is because the birth control gives you extra feminine hormones. Male hormones give you acne. Right now your hormones are very much out of balance. This can take a long time for me it was more than a year. But it is worth it. Balance, hydration and chemical exfoliation will help. Only use mild non drying products. Retinol is good too

try switching to gel moisturizers and move away from creams and oils. This includes makeup. Powder only. Ive had problematic skin forever and my dermatologist told me to do this and my skin has never been more clear.

Hi Ashley . Love your channel. Same situation happened to me last year. I got off bc and months after my skin broke out . I looked like a tenneager. I was experiencing a hormonal breakout. I went to Dr. Hadley king in NYC . She explained that when getting off bc our bodies can take 6months to 1 year to regulate . She ended up prescribing a medicated face wash and a retniod face cream. I've also been consistent with getting facials at Heyday spa (also in NYC) with either a microdermabrasion or chemical peel and my skin has never looked better. Hope this helps. :)
