allahu akbar. Though I am a Muslim, I was never practising one. I did not pray, did not fast, did free mixing with opposite sex. Somehow I never got peace. I watched movies a lot, listened to music a lot, but still I was getting depressed and went for medication. It took 12 years to realize the fact, now I am practising and miraculously I left all my anti depressants. Recitation of holy Quran and especially Surah Baqara from heart and gradually saw the difference. Alhamdulillah I felt the peace

It would be hard for some people to concentrate on the answers while eating or people would be distracted from the Q&A session and they will be focusing on the food. Its my opinion based on what I observed. Many people were concentrated on the food but the lady on your left side who was not eating the food was very eagerly listening to what you are saying. Concentrating on two activities at a time is quite hard for people.

I made the same remark. I think it was not a good idea to answer guests' questions when others are eating.. Though, as far as I could see, they usually don't do that. (The logistics doesn't always follow... maybe they had to adapt..). Anyway, I hope the guests could have benefit from this visit and may Allah swt reward Brother Sabeel and all the team for their praiseworthy efforts and guide all of us to His Straight Path and maintain us steadfast on it.
