I just find that super odd how people compare the salvation of your soul to your favorite flavor of coffee or drink. That kind of mindset should make anyone very uncomfortable.

I ironically agree with your points here. I saw ironically, because I've never found a church that ages me feel closer to God and therefore stopped going. However, your point is so valid. I hear the same excuses for the gym when people say they don't feel like going to the gym. It's not always gonna feel like a good day to lift but you still need to lift. Likewise with worship.

Interesting. I'm Lutheran which I feel is closer to Orthodoxy than Baptist but I have a few reservations about Orthodoxy that keep me in Lutheranism such as Mary's sinlessness and Salvation
