Yo Mark is actually so damn good at this game. He failed 45 times. I've failed over 400 times, at the exact same point in the game. Only failing 45 times up to this point is insane. Edit: one year later, started playing the game again. I was SO ASS, 400 deaths is crazy. I still stand by the fact that Mark is insane at this game for it being his first time. Some Easter eggs for you: 1: In the Root Pack boss fight if you don’t attack the onion he will not cry and he will send you to the next phase with a killable spinning radish, so it makes it harder, but it’s still an Easter egg. 2: in the Djimmi boss fight (the genie) if you go small during the phase where he reads your mind, he skips the stage and sends a small cuphead, that shoots every second switching in 8 directions. 3: During the Sally Stageplay bossfight, if you parry up to both baby angels and drop them down, it drops a coffin on the husband and takes you to the baby phase, but instead of babies it’s nuns, because her husband “dies” when you drop the coffin on him , so the husband doesn’t have kids with her, but other than that, the baby “nun” phase is the same as it would be with the babies. The God phase is changed a bit, and now includes the husband as a God too, and he sends babies, and saws at you. In the end phase it’s the same, but in the background the people taking the bows are the nuns, the husband, and some others. Just a few little Easter eggs for you, there are some more little ones, but just comment if you want to know them. One is that in the root pack boss fight there is a bag in the background that says ACME grow. ACME is the company in old cartoons like roadrunner where the chayote gets his bombs and gadgets to kill roadrunner.

See, this game should be the go to example when future developers say "Let's make a good game". The controls are tight and responsive, it's colorful but not so completely over-saturated that you lose track of things. The story while simple is still compelling enough to keep you interested. This is just a solid game and its examples are applicable across genres.

I love this, where you're talking to us about something close to you as you're playing. That's the kind of interaction I appreciate. This game is a perfect example of why I watch Let's Play videos (though, only yours and Jack's). My hands and fingers would never get through this game, for the duration they'd have to keep moving and shooting. They'd wear out too soon and I'd never win. But it's a great game, looks to be great fun, and has a killer soundtrack. So I love watching someone who CAN play it. Long story short, this is a GREAT video.
