If you choose the 4k max, firestick is not laggy, but Ive had issues with the remote disconnecting/refusing to work

Its ok to get one... Many TVs are android anyway. Only that many of them dont update the software so over time it becomes slow and buggy, but most of these tv boxes or sticks run latest software and are more versatile.

These android TV boxes and sticks are always changing year after year. In 2018 I bought a Chromecast 2 HD streaming device that's plugged on the back of the TV using HDMI cable. It didn't have a remote control like Roku or Amazon fire TV stick. Recently I upgraded to a new Xiaomi mi TV stick that comes with a Bluetooth voice remote control. It's an awesome experience than my previous Chromecast 2. I think in this day and age people who still subscribe to DStv or startimes should be jailed 😂

Hi Omanga kindly advice me i bought a hisense android tv from alibaba but it showing only in chinese language and programs are Chinese based.actually it cant show where i can download any app or playstore because its in Chinese. Just get an Amazon fire stick, or an android box. But use google translate on your phone first to see if theres a language menu you could change

Folks if you only have highspeed internet service you may have been given cable service accidentally somewhere in the past when paying bills, therefore it's good to connect tv to see if you have service, if so call to see if you're being charged for something you didn't buy, if not then don't say anything just enjoy it
