I can't stand being around people, I live alone, and every day I can't wait to get home from work just because I can be alone. I don't date because I can't stand meeting anyone new. I'm not afraid of people, I just can't stand to be around them. Also I don't have any friends. Which is fine with me.

I work with my dad and brother and I don't really look forward to going home because I have 2 people there that I can at least talk to throughout the day lol. Everyone else there is super nice tho. So I'm actually very comfortable working there. But before I started working there, I worked at Burger King and it SUCKED. The manager was unprofessional. She got on my nerves. I worked there for about 4-5 months. I've heard other people complaining about the manager. So it wasn't just me who thought she was a bitch. Lol.

I genuinely try to build relationships with people, only to be shit on. There are barely any people I genuinely like to talk to, and when I try to hang out with them they blown me off. I used to think I was crazy for being me, but I started working on my self and realized that I am unconventional and that's great!! Conventional, simple people have an easy time, they don't see anything wrong with the world, they lack imagination or thinking capacity and therefore, are simply unable to offer a good conversation. I wish I could find my kind of people, or atleast have one person who had my back and I could talk to anytime. But I've learnt to rely on myself

That is why I talk to Jesus all the time. It hurts me that sin entered the world. I agree with what you observe. God hates pride competition contention and all that stuff the world does. This is temporary y'all we are almost going home. In eternity we will not have anymore tears. God loves us so dearly. What I do that helps me is to focus in seeing Christ in people. Doesn't always work because some have turned fully from God but otherwise we are called to forgive and go to God for joy and to fill that void.

Where are people like you? I relate to all that. I have what my friend calls a philosophical mind. I consider myself a big thinker. I have so much to talk about yet most people I'm a mute. I used to have social anxiety. But being around people consistently over the last several years I'm used to being around people and realize, I don't like them lol. Very few friends I got. Almost all them from childhood. So out of all these years and all the people I met. Not a single person I could befriend? If you have nothing to offer, no one cares about you.

I am an empath and I absorb others emotions and it causes a lot if disturbances in my life and as sensitive as I am I just prefer to be alone most of the time. The only people I am comfortable with are my family members. Friends are good when you are a kid and the relationships are genuine but when you grow up...friends can be so fake and every interaction reeks of fake politeness and chit chat. I would rather interact with a stranger than a "friend".

Misanthropic - when you don’t like people. I generally don’t like people. I try to like them but, give it like 6 months to 2 years, eventually, I won’t like them, but I understand that they likely don’t like me or have things they don’t like about me either. This will sound arrogant but, it’s more of an assessment from queues I have gotten from people and things they’ve said to me. But people are often jealous of me. Some of that jealousy might come from my own disposition as an INTJ black female. I’m a pretty straight forward person. Maybe honest to a fault sometimes. I think that, because some people think I’m pretty, they actually assume or imbue upon me that I am arrogant. I’m discerning. Not arrogant. I also know where I stand in terms of beauty and it’s not “up there”. Some people don’t like me because of their own prejudices. I think that, when they first meet me, they assume that, as a black woman, I’m religious, selfless, know my place, etc. Then, when they find out that I’m none of the things they typified in their mind, “I’m the one” who betrayed them. Then, the script can entirely flip and, suddenly, to them I’m intimidating because of what I know or how I conduct myself. Then, I’m hard to figure out and I can feel that coming off people and, sometimes, they don’t like spending their energy on trying to figure me out, but I didn’t ask them to and I’m just being me. I do like some people but, I’ve found that I like them, often, because they’re just better than the phenomenal number of assholes, personality disordered, racist, sexist, etc. people I’ve worked with or know before them. You’re never going to like anyone perfectly. They’re going to do something. Make a decision, have a style, or handling any number of things different than you would’ve. I would imagine twins may not like one another many times. But, they cope because no one is closer in looks and upbringing than they are. They will likely have a lot more compatibility naturally, without making an effort. But yeah, it’s hard to like people. Most of us spend waaay more time in schools and workplaces, on a daily basis, for years on end, trying to make peace with spending our time with those we otherwise wouldn’t chose. We’re forced to spend an inordinate amount of time with people we have been forced to be with - more than the people we actually love and chose to be with. My guess is that one of the side effects of education and earning a paycheck is to make society work as one, as much as possible. Imagine who we’d be if we didn’t have that force that we think of as just money, keeping us together. Weird.

I am only at 2:26. I would like to chime in as you hit on something that I also have a problem with but I never verbalized nor do I let any visual cue Escape me that it bothers me. But I do get a visceral feeling when it happens. What I don't like about it is that it is a form of dominance. Specifically, it is condescending. It also has Trace Amounts of pretentiousness. There's a little bit more, but I pretty much already named the nitrogen and oxygen of the composition, no need to go into the other Trace elements, so-to-speak. Also, I am 34 years old, and I always address everybody with sir or ma'am. Or nothing. And how about this... when somebody goes in front of the judge let's say I'm Judge Judy, and they follow every single answer to a question with "your Honor." And they overdo it via Mi and it sounds so bad. It just gives me the feeling that this person is trying to pull one over on me

I feel the same way as you when people say dude or you guys. I don't really like people either. I get nervous around new people and since I retired I hardly leave the house except when I have to. I hate social settings like Christmas parties or weddings and would show up at a funeral before a party. I can't stand ignorant people the most and think that most people are idiots. I get depressed sometimes and don't care to make friends anymore. I guess I seem grumpy a lot. And I can't stand people that are what I consider phony. I guess I am too picky too. I hate head games and can see through people and usually a good judge of character which a lot of people lack. But if I meet someone I like right away - I am so pleased. I have a "step mom" who doesn't like to be wrong and when I get something right or correct her properly with respect when she tries to show off or whatever she says something to get back even when it has nothing to do with her. I tried being nice but soon when she calls me son I'm going to correct her and say stepson and say why. My family can be so lame they will blame me when I'm doing whats right.
