This isn't a fact. I have no evidence but I think Sam George together with the majority foresaw this. The minority are less likely to approve his nomination and the house might go for a vote. I feel majority of Ghanaians knew there was a high chance of a showdown or clash between the two. I was curious to see how far Afenyo-Markins was willing to go. At some point, I wanted Sam to fold but the stakes grew higher. Folding was no longer an option. It was beyond vetting. Everything was on the line; the image of his party, his party representation, his personality, reputation, wife 😅..... E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-A-N-G. After all the time wasting, he then proceeds to ask sector questions. It'd have been more reasonable if 3hrs was spent on that.

What i mean was that before the colonization we were speaking nothing like English but they impose it on us and gradually it became our major language and I'm not against it though but we have to choose a particular language within our country and make it our major language which they can start that by making it a core subject like the way they made English core subject and gradually it will become our major language that we can use it in parliament when making decisions for the country because these colonizers still don't like us and every decision we make they know because we speak their language which is very bad, they are still monitoring every step that we take. Why should he take it to court? What would the court adjudicate? This man effectively said the state security were inefficient and so his comrades heeding to his call helped recover gold that was being stolen? When his chairman guided him, then he said it was mislabelled gold and not gold being stolen, cos he had no proof, when pushed then he said the comrades are the state security..how this person qualifies to be the minister of that sector is amazing!!
