I got a DnD story about middle fingers. My character was tied up by some bandits, one of the party members thought I was a bandit as well. They ended up chopping off my middle fingers before asking who this 10 year old child was. The party member tried to fix it by giving the bones back. Needless to say, my elf child is scarred.
