I DONT Survive an Abandoned Hostel- El Cuco, El Salvador

I left El Tunco after being there for a couple days to rest and just chill. There was nothing to do there so I didn't end up making a video about it because all I did was work and chill by the water. I ended up deciding to stay in El Cuco because I didn't want to pay the $40 USD to take the shuttle from El Tunco to Leon, Nicaragua. I arrived at the city pretty late because there as heavy traffic in San Salvador and San Miguel so I arrived at my hostel 10 min before it got completely dark. It started to rain and my hostel was 5km away so my only chance to get there in time was to hitch hike which thankfully the first person I say picked me up. When I arrived at my hostel no one was there and I was looking around to see where everyone went, I even checked the beach but no one was there. So I found a room I thought was a dorm room and put my bag there. I didn't have any data so I had to use my satellite communicator to message my family letting them know just in case something went wrong. I ended up looking around and everything felt really off like people just got up and left in a hurry so I was a little suspicious. It got very late so I decided that I was just going to go to a hotel a little down the road and stay there because that hostel didn't feel right. I didn't feel gut feeling about leaving but thought it would be best. Just as I was about to leave I saw eyes staring back at me and after the little scare, I saw it was just a goat. Then just as I turn around I hear a voice calling to me.

Man you were not in El Tunco hahahha that's El Palmarcito. If you would've walked a few miles down the road you had El Zonte, which I feel like you would've enjoyed, and El Tunco is like 20 minutes before El Palmacito. El Salvador isn't really backpacker friendly for the most part, as you mentioned not a lot of cheap transportation and hostels are beyond shitty. Hopefully you can come back some other time with a little better advice and budget!

My dude, I can definitely tell you're traveling on a budget. El Salvador has way more quality than that to offer. Unless you're just looking for thrills. Either way, thanks for visiting!

Is obvious that the hotel is not attended and of course you choose a $5 hotel you cheap guy , in that hotel you can stay for free is abandoned. Go to a place where you’ll have to spend a few bucks and perhaps get famous
