There was X in Australia, we played our first gig in October 1977. There is also the L.A. X I don't know when they played there first gig... I have heard there is an X in Japan as well. The Ausralian X has released X-Aspirations. LP At Home With You. LP X live at The Civic LP X And More. X Live At The Basement. Double LP celbrating 25 Years of X music. Far out here it is ! Real down and dirty straight up live recorded X. I was there as the cinematographer with Melissa Woods as director shot on 16mm recorded live in a small upstairs warehouse room in Darling Harbour Sydney. Filthy sound the original 16mm clip we did has other inclusions left out of this version. Yep, Going Down brings back a lot of memories - whoa! But it happened Hayden Keenan took it over didn't he? Wow! I never knew this clip existed until now. I was a regular at the Civic back in the old days and always wished there were some better X clips from that era. OK, this is the slightly later Peter Cataunche lineup but still a great and amazing find. Thank you so much!!

i am floored. thank you for allowing us to see this. by the way, you might be interested to know that a fine cover of this has long been in the repertoire of a great band (and i say great in spite of the fact that i was briefly their third bass player 17 years ago) from san antonio, texas called boxcar satan. props to feedtime for first sending me (and boxcar sanford) in your direction way back when.

That video,I like U,man,you looked like a sexy alley cat,strutting about in that,spose Cathy in the background had me thinking like that.I remember that lazy,but lovely Jim White of Venom P Stinger,sent me on a goose-chase once,to find long lost Venom P Stinger videos,it was worth the $50 phone call,but got nowhere.Some other Utuber got them though,nice one.I remember as an eight year old,seeing newspapers with X painted on,stuck onto poles.

...that was Sydney,1979,the year I seen God.This strange little guy,bare chested,with a horse-tail pinned on,talking about Johnny Yen again,beating his brains in with the liquor and drugs.I sneaked out,to watch Afterdark,a late night music programme,but remember your adverts,all the way from Petersham to Redfern,black or red X's on Newspapers,the weird things a kid remembers.My uncle sold a lot of heroin back then and my auntie got busted with her son in Malaysia,but didn't get hung for it.
