The thing is, is that they're likely real warnings that if you said no to, they wouldn't allow it to do anything. Most of these viruses (some are real, and they're typically not ones that have those alerts) are meant to be run in virtual machines, like how he's running them, and are just meant to torment virtual computers for fun, essentially testing the creators' coding abilities. Real viruses are often *much* more lowkey, sending your data away and infecting other systems while doing so. These are just fun aesthetic ones, like I said.

They're distributed with warnings for educative and demonstrative purposes. Its turned into a hobby for these makers, but most of them don't do it to cause harm. If you dont heed the warnings and it destroys something, they arent liable because they gave you that warning

Note: The boot sector being destroyed can be fixed by simply downloading a new operating system. Though the viruses are still destructive if you are using windows you just lost 100 dollars. With mac, you just can flash asahi linux but you cant get macos again without going to apple.
