I am a part time programmer/game dev and i personally think that the number on the windows update virus could not go above 2,147,483,647. The creator of the virus likely programmed the update percentage using an integer, and that number is the integer limit (u can look that up)

as somebody who is doing malware analysis as a part of my course at my trade skill school (i'm doing cyber security as my trade skill), I've never thought of using a mac to prevent hypervisor breaking malware from crossing to the main system, for anyone who is confused a hypervisor is in simple terms a virtualized machine and some malware knows when it's being virtualized and will break containment and go infect the host system (most hypervisor breaking malware are a type of malware known as worms), and since macs are not windows this cannot happen.

@@Jaw7829-bu7pt Care to explain? I don't like how 10 forces updates. You can disable em, hit shutdown and not update and shutdown and it will still update. Half of the updates break something or other, I never had any issues with this on 8.1, and 8.1 still had compatibility with some old programs going back to the late 90s. DOSBox also seems to just not work for some people on windows 10 and I'm one of them. I can side by side do the same thing on my 8.1 or even my XP and it just doesn't work. I don't know how I'll like 11 but I need to buy a new laptop soon.

To answer your question from 12:04, the reason why there was no windows 9 was because microsoft didnt want any confusion with the 9x series of operating systems. Ex: 3.1, 95, 98, me, ect. So they just jumped to windows 10.
