Regieleki as a tier four pick has to be insane no? Mfs would make teams in gen 8 dedicated to beating ground types so eleki volt switch could be a wincon. The speed tier is goated, and even without the surprise factor I think eleki is going to be insane this season.

Eleki is genrally considered as pretty meh in draft by a lot of people. Speed's nice and it does get spin but its movepool is abysmal. It's also way easier in draft to predict your opponent's potential answers to your ground types, so it's harder to position the Eleki properly. Gonna be fun to see how it performs, but it might end up being a lot worse than one might think.

@@Digging_Ma I'm in a lot of leagues and the amount of teams without a ground type is punishable, and a T4 mon pick isn't a mon you need to be bringing every week so its value.

@@lucabertani225 more importantly, it basically forces a ground type no matter what (even though you’d probably always bring one anyway) but it means that the player is then forced into keeping the ground type alive to make sure Eleki can’t start punching holes. As you said, in low tier draft, it’s insane

Been loving the draft league content for the past year or so, but I'm immediately psyched for this format. Especially with SV going nearly full dex, it felt like leagues were turning into all-star games, and the only special part of drafts was exclusivity. Love the low tier structure giving more mons a chance to shine and more coaches a chance to get creative

Eyy just finished drafting a low tier team today. I kinda miss the old tier system in draft. Almost every league uses the standard point system these days. Regieleki that low in low tier is crazy. Quag is also great value for a 4.

Huh, lots of squishy offensive... nevermind :D Looking forward to seeing what this squad can do, and Quagsire has become one of my favorites over time. Hoping to see Toxic - Infestation - Rocky helmet at least once. It crushed physical setup threats for me during gen 7 NU. My only worry for the team is that while there is quite a bit of bulk, some of the core defensive typings are rather squishy. Good typing and immunities don't matter much if your water is Inteleon, your fairy is Rhibombee, and your ground immunity is Noivern. I'm sure it's workable when piloted well, though, and I'm looking forward to seeing the team in action. Edit: I just realized that Emvee doesn't appear to be in this league. Does anyone know what's up with that? I would have expected him to be all over low tier draft in particular. Edit 2: just found out why. Ugh...
