KZbinr John Doc holds the 1/8mile Hydraulic roller LS record of 4.12 at 176mph. Engine is TKM built pushing over 50psi down track, John claimed “around 300 passes” on his Aluminium rods before the most recent engine refresh. Still made over 2200whp on the dyno right before the engine was refreshed. I know 1/8mile isn’t comparable wear/tear also John doesn’t street drive at all. Just mentioning a KZbinr capable of pushing the LS platform’s limits successfully

Check out 1320s interview with Benny (MCM) he had to slow down his Barra powered Cressida at Sick Week to run no faster than 8.50 because he only has a cage like this Torana.

The only thing that is changed is the fuel itself. The car still uses a (modified) factory tank.
