4:40 not a player but I watch alot of world box content vicariously. Of every video of every channel I watch I notice when a high population is densely packed it gets a meteor. It's as if the game has a built in mechanic to self regulate so it doesn't get super laggy and crash.

it's because of the trait unlucky, as mentioned in the video, it means the people have a higher chance to get struck by meteors and stuff, so as you may imagine a bunch of people clumped together with some of them being unlucky is a recipe for disaster
