That was awesome! I caught a record Pinfish off of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in 2021. The owner of the Bait Shop there asked me for it and was keeping it in a fish tank. Good to see the store coming along. Can't wait to order online. Interested in a number of things that I'll be needing for fishing whenever I'm down. Good Luck with everything!!

It would so nice if the powers that be would install a storm-worthy cap or walkway on that jetty. Get it done! Of course, as long as it is taking to repair the beach pier I expect this notion of vastly improving that ancient jetty a moot point. Maybe the KZbinrs who are so prominent in our area would get behind such an upgrade it would get done. A lot less broken legs would be a plus… You rock, Mat!

Congrats Mathew. Good luck with the business. There is a lot of fun at jetties but like you said, a lot of hung ups on those treacherous boulders and strong currents dragging the sinker in minutes away.

Hi, love your channel. Been watching for a few years. What you need is one of the rock fishing rods that I have used in Portugal. They come in 5, 6, 7 and 8 meter long rods. I have actually seen them up to 10 meters long. Would not have issues landing the fish with the rocks in front of you. Saul

Hey, buddy, Try a bobber utilizing a bobber stopper so you can get a deeper drift above the rocks..you can drop it to around 20 ft. ....use a 3/8 ths to 1/2 ounce weight with a medium bobber... And a small treble hook...

I recommend that you sell the Hoodwinks from Southern Salt Bait Company! They work! I have killed the trout, redfish, flounder, and largemouth bass with them. Have even caught some mangrove snapper with them!! Great video as usual!

Yes, the spot tail pinfish is good tasting,, but so is the other pinfish you showed! Not the sailors choice type of pinfish though,, they're nasty! Now keep in mind,, I only keep the pinfish that are that big, or bigger, because I fillet everything ,, off the bone and skin,, so to get a decent amount of meat, you need the bigger size pinfish. Just like most any other saltwater fish, they have a small row of pin bones above their ribs that you should cut out, but fry it up and enjoy!

I hope you don't fish in Florida because that's all we use live shrimp live mullet live crab. You put a little crab on that line you'll get a 30 lb redfish redfish
