I DROVE 2000 MILES TO MONACO AND BROKE DOWN

In this video it was time to enjoy the projects myself and 2 of my friends have been working on for a long time. Taking 3 cars from Leicestershire to Monaco in a ‪@TopGear‬ style road trip.

As always with any ambitious task it will never go perfectly, the #nissan #350z #z33 broke down with a misfire and led to a a hugely expensive repair!

Why didn't you switch a coil pack with another cylinder to see if the fault followed it. That would have confirmed if it was a coil pack or not.

We didnt want to risk damaging another one incase we could only get 1! The one for cylinder 5 came out in pieces so if another did it aswell it could have been a nightmare!

Same happened to me last year! But I was a mile from home not in Monaco 😂 ended up being the rocker cover gasket and ended up with all new spark plugs, coil packs and a new rocker cover, but at least it’s all new now

I've had 2 separate occasions where a coil pack died. On the 2nd time round I just replaced all 6. Other than that my DE has been well behaved 😆
