Make the trip to meet Pierre and see his shop. I learned more about W123 in three days than a year of reading manuals. I've never seen anyone multitask like Pierre. He's amazing The passion he has for these cars is unending. I cannot thank him enough for his time working on my 300D. He is truly the best!

I can personally attest to Pierre’s helpfulness and generosity. Last night he spent over an hour on the phone helping me with my 1991 350SDL. I had never met Pierre but sent him an email with some questions about my car. His response was “give me a call.” I now have over 3 pages of notes based on our talk. Thanks, Pierre!

kent bergsma is cool, but mainly he cares about his shop made products and on demmand video manuals. then theres pierre who sacrifices his own time out of busy schedules to answer questions and make video replies. a truly knowledgable honest man. my dream would be to take my car to your shop and have it fixed :D ....sigh

harlerik lol lab coat. yeah i agree he sells free information ava. elsewhere. pierre is like, i can tell you how to fix it, on the spot. no hiding details. genuinely wants to help you.

Well maybe he wears the "lab coat" because of the cool weather where he lives. If Kent takes the time to write instructions and make videos guides and wants to sell them....there's nothing wrong with that! If you can find all the information you need on internet forums, then don't spend your money. Some of the information you find on forums is wrong, so be careful. I like Kent and Pierre. I have my doubts that Pierre spent three days with this guy going over his Mercedes for free.

Regardless. i like both Kent & Pierre. pierre is just a little more flexible and responsive with feedback to his subscribers and everyday emails. kent is heading for retirement :D

Where’s your shop at? I’d love a classic Mercedes, I’ll have one some day, I’m just not sure if it’ll be one that’s a classic today or if I’ll keep mine till it’s a classic, though I’m not sure if I see the newer ones having quite the longevity of those classics. Time will tell I guess.
